Justin Ancheta and Maren Metke have musical nectar flowing through their veins. The dynamic Grass Valley duo is the driving force behind a project that is even sweeter than it sounds. Honey of the Heart is an ambrosial mix of musical interpretations influenced by folk, soul, roots, and world/flamenco styles. Built upon a repertoire of uplifting original material, they join together, or with other phenomenal musicians to create in an organic state of symbiosis. Many of their songs come forth like ancient incantations, casting angelic spells on all in their path. Honey of the Heart weaves soaring harmonies and hypnotic polyrhythms into an alchemical semblance of groove intended for dancing, rejoicing, and blissful recalibration.Justin and Maren formed the group, Honey of the Heart, to inspire and connect people with their voices, melodies, and world rhythms. 

Based in Northern California with strong roots in the Bay Area, Seattle. Their music gets as intimate as just vocals and Ukulele, to as large as a twelve-piece band with a horn section, multiple percussionists, and DJ. 

Their live shows emote a sweet nectar of sounds that can bring people to personal revelation, and community awareness, and uplift the power of joy in our hearts. 

Maren Metke is a vocalist, songwriter and instrumentalist performing across the US and beyond. Justin Ancheta is a guitarist, vocalist and multi instrumentalist and Internationally acclaimed touring musician. They joined forces in 2014. Both strong composers & performers, they tour as a duo as well as full band.

The Funky Gators Cajun/Zydeco Dance band is composed of Cajun/Zydeco, R&B and Lousiana roots music veterans that have been playing in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. They combine elements of Funk, R&B, Soul and Motown with the infectious, foot tapping sounds of Zydeco. The Funky Gators play straight Zydeco, and also toss in Jazz, funk, New Orleans and old school R&B and swing without missing a beat. The core band includes Accordion, Rubboard, Drums, Bass, Guitar, vocals and a little trumpet tossed in for flavor!

DUNIYA is an amazing West African band, comprised of musicians from Mali, USA, & India which fuses together ancient and modern sounds and instruments. Their music is highly rhythmic and extremely danceable, interspersed  by moments of slower, deeply profound cultural grooves. DUNIYA is guaranteed to move your body and soul and create a unique musical experience you won't soon forget.
Lead Singer Oumou Mariko and djembe player Drissa Kone both hail from Bamako, Mali and have a deeply rooted mastery of traditional Malian music and dance. Greg Fletcher, formerly of Soul Union, arranges the music and plays a 12 stringed harp/lute from Mali called the Kamelengoni.  Our newest member Srishti Biryani Oswald is a young Indian Bansuri flute phenom, adding a rich and sweet texture to the music. With Ben Isaacs on Bass and Max Rea on drum set our current lineup is a real powerhouse of diversely talented world musicians.
