Are you an experienced performing, visual, or digital artist? Would you like to share your skills with the community? Shasta County Arts Council would like to expand their class offerings and needs teachers! Please fill out the form below, and email it to racheal@shastaartscouncil.org
Guest Curators Wanted
Now accepting proposals for Guest Curators for our 2026 Gallery Season.
We welcome submissions and exhibition ideas from anyone interested in curating a show. Prior experience is not required, and mentorship is available for those who would like guidance through the process.
Guest curators work with SCAC to help bring an exhibition to life!
Responsibilities include:
>Selecting artwork for the exhibition
>Coordinating installation, hanging, and artwork pickup
>Communicating with participating artists throughout the process
Each exhibition opens during First Friday of the assigned month, and guest curators are expected to attend the opening reception.

Final exhibition selections are made at the discretion of the SCAC Gallery Committee.
