Put on your favorite boots and join us for an energetic evening of line dancing led by Marlyn, as she brings the boot-stomping fun to Old City Hall. This is not a dance class — it’s a lively community dance party open to everyone, whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new!

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Shasta County Arts Council, helping support arts programs and initiatives throughout our community.

Whether you’re a writer or storyteller (visual or oral), you are invited to develop your storytelling skills in an immersive storytelling workshop. In connection to the Living With Fire art exhibit, this workshop encourages individuals to share their stories of resilience and recovery in the face of living with fire.

During the workshop, you will explore a variety of storytelling techniques to help bring your narrative to life. You will apply storycraft strategies to capture attention and connect with your audience. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have created a working draft of a written, oral, or visual story.

What to bring: Bring a notebook, sketchbook, pencils, or pens to ideate and draft your story.

Children’s clay club is designed to foster creativity, fine motor skills, self-expression and teaches vocabulary/hand building techniques. Through hands-on clay activities, I will guide your child in developing their problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and artistic voice. Each project requires two classes.

• Schedule: Bi-monthly 90 minute classes (two classes in the same month)

• Fee: $50 per student, per month
