Nancy Hill
Executive Director
Nancy Hill retired after a distinguished thirty-five-year career in arts education with the Anderson Union High School District, where she taught choir, band, dance, theatre, and culinary arts. She has also taught technical theatre at Shasta College and served as Artistic Director of South Shasta County Youth Arts. She brings a strong vision for continuing SCAC’s tradition of service while guiding its growth as a leading arts council in Northern California.
Daniel Hill
Communication/Site manager
Daniel Hill serves as SCAC’s Communication and Site Services Coordinator, supporting the organization’s public communications and the ongoing activation of the historic Old City Hall as a vibrant arts space. He holds a degree in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, and brings a multidisciplinary background in music, acting, videography, and digital editing. Through his creative and technical expertise, Daniel helps amplify the work of artists across Shasta County.
Jessica Jamerson is Shasta County born and raised. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Southern Oregon University. As SCAC’s Digital Marketing and SCACtv Coordinator, she oversees all aspects of the organization’s online presence, including social media strategy, digital storytelling, and video content production.She strives to make SCAC welcoming, approachable, and visible ensuring that the arts remain an active and celebrated part of life in Shasta County.

Jessica Jamerson
Susan Emerson | Resident Artist & Classes Coordinator
Susan Emerson has a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She joined the Shasta County Arts Council in 2000. In that time she has shared her life long love of art as an event coordinator and a classroom coordinator and teacher. Susan has worked with Americore Vista on economic development for artists. She has also used her formal training on safety in the arts with artists in general.

Sharon Brisolara | Resident Artist & Words for All Coordinator
Dr. Sharon Brisolara, an educator, writer, poet, certified Mind Body Medicine (MBM) practitioner, and Resilience and Equity Coach. During her career, she has created opportunities for people to connect with, see the value and power of, and articulate their stories. She has created Open Mic spaces and poetry workshops designed to be inclusive. She co-wrote and led a California Youth Speaks grant, Being Seen: Native Youth on Culture, Identity, and Justice. She recently led the Poetry component of a California Creative Corps grant and is the Spoken and Written Word Artist of Residence at Shasta County Arts Council. With her guidance we will curate and compensate local writers for original works for use during our festival.
