Fiscal Sponsorship

Shasta County Arts Council supports emerging arts organizations by acting as their fiscal sponsor. SCAC operates a project’s back-office administration, which includes financial management and oversight and ensuring IRS compliance. This lets artists focus on what they do best, without the additional labor associated with running a 501c3. In turn, becoming a beneficiary allows organizations to accept donations and apply for grants that may not otherwise be available to them without a 501c3 certification.
