    • Shasta Historical Society - Frank Lloyd Wright - The Wright Time

      Starts: 6:00 pm

      Ends: April 18, 2014 - 7:30 pm

Location: Old City Hall, 1313 Market Street, Redding, CA 96001

Description: Shasta Historical Society is presenting a second public screening of the documentary 'The Wright Time".

"The film is a true gem and highlights the hard work of our local community. I was especially interested to learn that Mr. Wright was so impressed by the emotion of a committee document that was entitled: "What Our Building Must Express", that he agreed to desing the church. Frank Lloyd Wright has long been regarded America's greatest architect. Wright designed over 1,000 buildings during his 70-year career. However, only 10 of those structures were houses of worship. The Redding Pilgrim Congregational Church was the last one that Wright designed before his death in April of 1959." -- March 2014 Stagecoach

Please note, currently, the screening time is tentative.
