SCACtv is Shasta County’s selection of public access channels run by the Shasta County Arts Council. Charter Spectrum customers can tune in for information on local tourism, educational programming, and recordings of local government meetings.

  • This channel displays Shasta County’s plethora of cultural and recreational opportunities. With content curated by local tourism boards and independent filmmakers, there’s no shortage of information on outdoor recreation, fine dining, and arts events available to visitors of the region. Local businesses are also welcome to showcase themselves via advertisement on this channel.

  • Local government and community outreach are featured on this channel. Redding, Anderson, and Shasta Lake City council meetings all are available to watch live and/or rebroadcast as they occur. Local content creators are also welcome to submit works pertaining to local policy and community events.

  • Educational and cultural content is featured on this channel. Broadcasted material may include past concerts and recitals, advertisements for local arts events, and classes taught by local artists.

Channel 181 is available to stream 24/7

While Channels 180 and 182 are available only to Redding Charter subscribers, our government Channel 181 is available for anyone to stream.

Council Meeting Broadcast Schedule:

City of Redding – live stream on Council meeting day, repeated on Thursday, 12:30pm.

City of Anderson – recording broadcast on Wednesday following Council meeting at 10am

City of Shasta Lake – recording broadcast on Wednesday following Council meeting, at 6pm; Friday following the meeting at 2pm.
