The Thorn is not your average passion play. With aerial acrobatics, stuntmen, dancers, and fire, The Thorn is like Cirque meets The Passion. The show draws audiences of church-goers and theatre-goers alike, with exceptional production value and artistry. It is the largest gospel production that no one has heard of, until now.

Is the show appropriate for children? Over 12, absolutely! The show was originally designed for teenagers so it is appropriate for anyone 12 and over. Over the years, the tour has worked to make the show more family-friendly as their audiences have evolved to include younger children and families. The show is loud, has graphic content (specifically the crucifixion), and is an intense subject. That said, the show has countless younger attendees that have had an amazing experience, ages 6 and up. If you are planning on bringing children, the potentially questionable portion of the live show is the 30 minutes after intermission. The first hour and the last 20 minutes are all-ages appropriate.
