Dave Short's Jazz At Old City hall is a monthly concert series dedicated to providing jazz musicians a friendly, intimate venue for them to perform their favorite music. Join us for our concert on the first Sunday of each month.

We also provide support for The Sundial Saxophones, a summer jazz camp for young jazz musicians.

An entertainment-based company providing the highest quality in dance productions for public or private events.
The Dance Project is housed at The Cascade Theatre in downtown Redding CA.
The Dance Project gives area dancers and entertainers 16 and older the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a professional company. Company auditions are held twice a year and are open to the public.

The Music Farm is a place for families to learn music together. We offer classes for Babies, Toddlers, Preschoolers, Homeschoolers, Families as well as private lessons at the appropriate age

By the age of 7 or 8, a child may begin private lessons, and/or sing in the Redding Children’s Chorus with Phoebe Fazio

North State Songwriters' Group promotes networking among Shasta county area songwriters, provides showcasing opportunities, educational opportunities and promotes resource and information sharing.






We are a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the Shasta County Arts Council.  Our purpose is to help create community through music and the arts. Coming to our events, having a good time, and smiling has never been hazardous to your health.
